Superyacht charter on the French Riviera is part of the scenery: this coast hosts the world's largest gathering of big yachts, and in Monaco, Cannes and Antibes they lie stern to stern. The Benetti Oasis 40M, around 40 metres long, comes from an Italian yard with more than a century behind it, and its trump card is obvious at first glance.

The aft Oasis deck becomes a genuine beach club: bulwarks fold down to reveal a waterside platform with a pool. Five cabins accommodate 10–12 guests, and nine crew, including a chef, deliver hotel-grade service from breakfast to evening cocktails. Water toys come aboard too.

A yacht like this is chartered by the week — for family holidays, landmark birthdays or Grand Prix and Cannes festival dates. Top speed is a leisurely 15 knots or so, yet seven days are plenty to string together the Principality, the peninsula villas, the island monastery off Cannes, the harbour at Saint-Tropez — and, weather permitting, a crossing to Corsica. Pricing for the week shifts with the calendar of events and is written into the contract.

Superyacht charter on the French Riviera: FAQ

How is a weekly superyacht charter arranged?

A contract is signed, often on MYBA terms, with roughly half paid upfront. The APA is paid separately, and any unspent balance is usually returned after the trip.

Can we reach Corsica?

Yes, on a weekly itinerary in good weather. It is a long passage, so the captain decides by the forecast, keeping a back-up plan along the Riviera.

How many guests can come?

Five cabins sleep 10–12 for a week, and up to 12 can be aboard by day. Larger events are discussed separately.
