Turkey
Turkey's most sheltered cruising ground: islands, lagoons and Lycian rock tombs.
The Gulf of Fethiye and neighbouring Göcek form one of the Mediterranean's finest yachting areas. Dozens of islands shelter the gulf from swell, so the water stays calm even on windy days, and pine-covered slopes run right down to the shore. Dalaman Airport is only 20 to 30 minutes from Göcek, so you can be on board on the day you land.
Every format works here. A day trip to the 12 Islands of Göcek means several swim stops, snorkelling and lunch on board. From Fethiye boats head to the Ölüdeniz lagoon and Butterfly Valley. A week-long gulet Blue Cruise runs east along the Lycian coast to Kalkan, Kaş and the sunken city of Kekova.
Göcek is a favourite with families and anyone worried about seasickness: there is hardly any swell, passages are short and many bays have restaurants with their own jetties. Groups choose spacious gulets and catamarans, couples a smaller motor yacht for sunset. Gulet charter in Turkey on this stretch of coast is a classic that many guests repeat every year.

The season runs from May to October; in summer the sea reaches 27–28 °C, and the Göcek gulf stays calm even on windy days.
Exact inclusions depend on the yacht and are always listed in your written offer.
Indicatively from €150 per hour on a small boat, from €800 per day on a captained yacht and from €5,500 per week on a gulet. Weekly charters usually include crew and fuel within standard cruising hours, with food on a full-board or APA basis. The exact breakdown is in your quote.
No. All yachts come with a captain, and gulets with a full crew including a cook. You do not need any sailing skills.
Late May, June and September offer warm water, less heat and quieter bays. July and August are the hottest and busiest months.
It is one of the best areas for kids, with almost no swell and short passages. Bring sunscreen, sun hats, snorkel masks, a light layer for evenings and a soft bag rather than a hard suitcase.
A deposit is usually paid at booking with the balance due before the charter. If the weather prevents sailing, the captain changes the route or reschedules; cancellation terms depend on the yacht and are confirmed in your quote.
Home of the gulet and the Blue Cruise: a crusader castle, windmills and the bays of Gökova.
Pine-covered Lycian mountains, ancient harbours and turquoise coves an hour from your hotel.
The caldera, volcanic beaches and the Oia sunset — without the crowded viewpoints.
