Greece
Delos, Rhenia and the south-coast beaches from the deck of your own yacht.
A yacht charter in Mykonos is the easiest way to enjoy the island without traffic on narrow roads or crowded sunbeds. From the water you reach coves that are hard to access by land, and neighbouring Delos and Rhenia are less than an hour away. Most guests book a half-day or full-day private cruise with a captain, who knows where the water is calmest that day and picks the anchorages.
The Mykonos fleet is one of the most varied in Greece. You will find fast Technohull RIBs built in Greece, Lagoon and Fountaine Pajot sailing catamarans, and motor yachts from Azimut, Sunseeker, Riva and Pershing. A catamaran is the pick for space and stability at anchor; a motor yacht lets you cover the entire south coast in a day and still make dinner in town.
The defining local factor is the meltemi, a strong northerly wind that blows through July and August. Routes are therefore usually planned along the sheltered south coast or in the lee of Rhenia, and the captain adjusts the plan each morning to the forecast. We collect offers from vetted local operators and help you compare yachts, prices and terms so you can choose the right boat for your group and budget.

Mykonos — Naxos — Paros — Antiparos — Syros — Tinos, overnighting in bays and marinas. The island order depends on the meltemi.
The season runs from May to October, with the warmest water in July–September. The meltemi blows in July and August, so June and September are best for calm cruising.
Exact inclusions depend on the yacht and are always listed in your written offer.
A speedboat starts from about €300 per hour and a full day on a catamaran or motor yacht from about €2,000. The captain, insurance and soft drinks are usually included. Fuel is often extra on motor yachts, and weekly charters add APA (an advance for expenses, around 30%) plus VAT. Your quote spells out exactly what is covered.
No, if the yacht comes with a captain — which is how almost all Mykonos day trips run. A bareboat charter requires a recognised skipper certificate and experience, plus a second crew member with some training.
June and September offer warm water, lighter winds and fewer crowds. In July–August the meltemi can reach force 6–7, so captains favour sheltered south-coast bays or reschedule.
Yes — most yachts carry children's life jackets; just tell us their ages. Bring sunscreen, hats, swimwear and soft non-marking shoes. Towels are usually provided on board.
Once you choose a yacht you pay a deposit, with the balance due before departure. If the captain cancels because of wind, a new date or refund is usually offered, but the policy varies by yacht and is confirmed in your quote.
