Motor yacht charter in Ibiza
Four captained yachts of 16 to 20 metres, built for a long, quick day linking Ibiza and Formentera.
A motor yacht charter in Ibiza pays off when you want to cover ground. Ses Illetes on Formentera, the cliffs around Cala d'Hort and the pine-fringed water of Cala Bassa sit in different corners of the map, and a planing hull strings them into one outing instead of making you choose. Each boat in this selection is licensed for a dozen guests, so circles of friends and extended families usually end up here.
The four yachts fall into two pairs. The Sunseeker Manhattan 52 and the Azimut 55 are flybridge boats of 16–17 metres with three cabins: the upper deck gives you a second shaded place to sit, and the Azimut adds snorkelling kit and an aft-cockpit table for a long lunch on board. The Pershing 62 and the Princess V65 are sportier open designs of 19–20 metres. The Pershing tops 40 knots and is made for beach-club days, while the Princess brings a sliding sunroof, a hydraulic swim platform and a jet ski on request.
Whichever you pick, the skipper chooses the spot to stop. Much of the shallow seabed is covered by Posidonia meadows where anchors are not allowed, and a crew that knows the sand patches and buoy fields saves real time on a crowded August afternoon.

Where you go
Most departures leave Marina Ibiza or Marina Botafoch in Ibiza Town, a short run north of Formentera's beaches. Boats based in Sant Antoni are better placed for the west side: Cala Bassa, Cala d'Hort and the evening light around Es Vedrà. A classic full-day loop heads for Espalmador or Ses Illetes first and comes home up the west coast.

When to go
Demand is fiercest in high summer, when the sea is at its warmest; early and late summer usually leave more boats free and the anchorages calmer. These yachts are at their best over a whole day, though a shorter evening outing from Sant Antoni to Es Vedrà makes a fine alternative.
Motor yacht charter in Ibiza: FAQ
Which motor yacht is best for a Formentera day?
Any of the four handles the crossing comfortably. For shade and a second deck, choose a flybridge such as the Manhattan 52 or Azimut 55. If speed and a big sun pad matter more, the Pershing 62 gets there first.
What is the guest limit?
Every yacht in the selection takes a maximum of 12 by day, and each has three cabins for changing and resting. Far fewer can sleep aboard, so flag an overnight plan in your request.
Can we stop at a beach club?
Plenty of guests ask for exactly that. The Pershing 62 keeps a tender in its garage, which makes getting ashore at Cala d'Hort or on Formentera easier. Book high-season tables early and we will pass the request to the operator.
Does the Posidonia rule affect our day?
Rarely in practice. It limits where the crew can drop anchor, not where you can go, and local skippers use sand or mooring buoys instead. Some buoy fields may carry a separate fee, which the offer should show.
